ALL ABILITIES ALL MEDIUMS ART COURSE. Minimum 5 students - Maximum 12 students. This All Abilities Drawing and Painting Course runs for 2.5 hrs from 9:30 am-12:00 pm. Day: FRIDAYS. Each class is $59 making the total for four weeks $236. Welcome to "Unlocking Creativity," a drawing and painting course designed for everyone. Whether you're just starting or eager to enhance your artistic voice, this course will help you build a solid foundation while encouraging your unique artistic expression. In this course you have the choice of drawing with pencils or chalk pastels and painting with watercolour or acrylic paints, who knows, you may choose to do all four! Within each easy-to-follow class session, you will be guided through a variety of painting and drawing approaches to expand your knowledge and skills. Each class session will follow a different theme and within these themes, you will be able to progressively build on your learning and enhance your artistic confidence. Each class with have a different theme and you will learn: *Colour comprehension including mixing, layering and blending *Brushwork techniques and control *Form and dimension *Shadows and highlights *Creative composition *Proportion and perspective *Scale, light and tone *Developing pattern and texture *Creating depth *Working with varied mediums and solvents WHAT IS PROVIDED: Different mediums and tools will be provided, however you need to bring your own brushes and pallet, or you can purchase a starter kit of brushes for $25, You are also welcome to bring any other materials you might have at home that you would like to use.
