ACRYLIC PAINTING

Cover in our Acrylic Course or All Mediums Art Course

Acrylic paint is made of pigment suspended in polymer resin. It is thinned and cleaned up with water and when the water has evaporated it dries waterproof. When used thickly it can resemble oil paint, when used in a fluid manner it can resemble watercolour. It allows many techniques that are unique to it thanks to its fast-drying properties and because it can adhere to many surfaces. WATERCOLOUR PAINTING

Cover in our Watercolour or All Mediums Art Course

Watercolour painting is a technique that uses pigments suspended in a water-based solution. The transparent nature of watercolour allows for subtle layering and blending of colours, creating delicate and ethereal effects. It's often used to create landscapes, portraits, and still-life paintings. Watercolour paintings are known for their luminous quality and the way the light shines through the layers of paint. CHALK PASTELS

Cover in our All Mediums Art Course

Chalk pastels are a versatile medium used in art for creating vibrant and expressive works. The texture of chalk pastels is soft and powdery, similar to chalk, but they have a richer pigment and are more blendable. They come in a wide range of colors, from subtle earth tones to bold, intense hues, offering artists plenty of options for creating depth and contrast in their work. Chalk pastels are prized for their vibrant colors, soft texture, and versatility, making them a popular choice among artists for creating everything from quick sketches to detailed and expressive masterpieces.

PENCILS - LEAD, COLOUR AND WATERCOLOUR

Cover in our Drawing or all Mediums Art Course

Pencil art refers to artwork created primarily using pencils, ranging from graphite pencils to colored pencils. This medium offers artists a versatile tool for drawing, shading, and creating intricate details. Pencil art can encompass a wide range of styles and subjects, from realistic portraits and landscapes to abstract compositions and illustrations. In pencil art, artists manipulate the pressure, strokes, and techniques of their pencils to achieve different effects, from light and delicate lines to bold and expressive marks
